Florida Man Smiles, Waves at Camera as He Loots U.S. Capitol
Less than 24 hours after a failed coup attempt at the U.S. Capitol, the FBI and other police agencies have launched a massive manhunt for the rioters who disrupted the Electoral College vote certification at the urging of President Donald Trump.
A handful of insurrectionists were arrested on the spot. Others have been identified through social media posts.
Yep, that’s right. These morons were taking selfies and posing for pictures while committing treason.
Well, you didn’t expect them to be Rhodes Scholars, did you?
Among the perps already identified is a Florida resident—naturally. He got captured on camera not by one of his fellow yahoos, but by Getty Images, waving to the photographer as he paraded about the Capitol holding a lectern from the U.S. House of Representatives. The lectern appears to be that of Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Who is this latest addition to the annals of Florida Man?
He was instantly identified on social media as Adam Johnson, 36, of Parrish, a crossroads northeast of Bradenton on Florida’s west coast. He was identified as the father of five, married, and soon to be in serious need of legal representation.
